Insight:
Women are portrayed in a very fragile and conventionally “feminine” state
in most fragrance ads. ERIS Parfums’ Scorpio Rising strives to exemplify
unconventional beauty, and dark subversive glamour. Women want to see
messaging in media that empowers them and enables them to break societal
limits. They don't want to be perceived in a restricted manner and want the
freedom to change and evolve freely.
Objective:
Scorpio Rising - An Unwavering Paradox - is a multi channel advertising
campaign for the fragrance Scorpio Rising Extrait de Parfum by ERIS Parfums.
This campaign challenges the conventional portrayal of women in fragrance ads
and presents the sheer power, will and fierceness of a woman. It captures those
notes of womanhood that almost always go unseen - the fire fueling the softness
a woman, the formidable nature of her smile, the intelligence that complements
her beauty, the passion that accompanies her affection and the fear and awe that
she extracts from those around her, oh so effortlessly.
